Darkley house in Co.Armagh is a country house of hospitality and care Accommodation is available for individuals or small families who may find themselves homeless or in need of emergency accommodation. This can be overnight or longer term, depending on the circumstances.

Residents can enjoy the extensive grounds with secluded areas for thought and reflection.

As a charity we depend on volunteers to assist in the day to day running and in May this year our very own Luke Montgomery was awarded the Coronation Champion Award for his dedication & commitment to community work through Crossfire Trust.

In 2022 we were fortunate to avail of the Natural World Products’ Sustainable Communities Fund ‘which will help to maintain our food growing project at the house where residents can help with a bit of gardening and enjoy the reward of homemade lunches together.

We also benefited from a donation of the peatfree New Leaf Compost to enhance our polytunnels and some horticultural advice along with seeds and plants from Sharon Mc Master from NWP as part of her community outreach role.
