Growing Food in the School Garden - Teacher Training.

Join Natural World Products, Eco-Schools NI and Live Here Love Here for a practical training course designed to give primary and secondary school teachers, educators the knowledge and confidence to grow food successfully in a shared growing space. The course will introduce the key principles of planning, creating and maintaining a productive school garden, with a strong focus on sustainable and environmentally responsible growing. Natural World Products, producers of New Leaf Compost and Live Here Love Here share a commitment to encouraging positive environmental action through biodiversity, peat-free growing, education, waste reduction and energy saving. This course brings those values together in a practical setting, showing participants how food growing can become an engaging and accessible way to connect children, young people and communities with nature. Whether you are starting a growing space from scratch or looking to make better use of an existing school or community garden, the session will provide practical ideas that can be adapted to suit your own setting.
